Tour Information - Riverbend Jet Boat Tours - Alberta

The tour runs on one of the biggest and unique rivers in Southern Alberta, the South Sasketchewan. This prairie river runs from north of Grassy Lake to just east of Empress where it meets the Red Deer River.

The South Saskachewan is so diverse with its high breath-taking clay banks and rocky bottom. The shoreline contains hoodoos, coal seams, and dinosaur fossils. It remains virtually untouched in the way the First Nations people saw it centuries ago. There is such an incredible abundance of wild life and fish that people are amazed. You will be travelling on a twelve passenger Boice jet boat that has been custom built for us. It is the best in technology and performance and stands next to none with low decibel emissions tests. Made of solid aluminum, it meets all white water and river challenges. WE are proud to be associated with the Boice family of Medford, Oregon and their 50 years of jet boat building and excellence.

This spring Riverbend Adventures purchased a custom made five passenger jet boat from Outlaw Marine in Red Deer Alberta, one of the top jet boat builders in Western Canada. We are hoping to be able to run all summer when the river is lower, with this sporty, lighter aluminum boat.
